Summary: The role of Data Analyst involves supporting an organization in optimizing its integrated business planning and advanced analytics initiatives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance demand forecasting and supply planning through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. The Data Analyst will also lead process transformation efforts and mentor team members while utilizing advanced planning tools and analytics. This role is pivotal in influencing decisions at both operational and executive levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use data-driven insights to recommend ways to increase “touchless” demand forecast updates.
  • Identify and report on areas for analytics performance improvement, proposing enhancements to Data Science teams.
  • Implement and document advanced business planning processes, ensuring playbooks are current with best practices.
  • Automate analytics and reporting to create periodic recommendations with minimal manual effort.
  • Provide ongoing training and maintain updated change management documents for stakeholders.
  • Support strategic objectives related to revenue, profit, and market share across IBP markets.
  • Communicate complex analytics and supply chain concepts to various audiences, influencing decisions.
  • Lead process transformation efforts with Demand and Supply Planning teams, building strong relationships.
  • Develop and manage stakeholder relationships, conducting impact assessments and implementing action plans.
  • Mentor and lead direct reports, fostering professional development and collaboration.

Key Skills:

  • Substantial experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, IBP, or similar consulting roles.
  • Familiarity with advanced planning tools or systems (e.g., o9, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan).
  • Success in designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end planning processes.
  • Strong data analysis skills in Excel or SQL; familiarity with Python or R is a plus.
  • Proven communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
