Summary: The role of Data / AI Engineer involves designing and building data infrastructure for AI/ML solutions within the Pharma/Life Sciences sector. The position requires extensive experience with AWS Data Engineering and related technologies, as well as expertise in data modeling and pipeline maintenance. The engineer will lead the prototyping and development of a RAG platform on AWS. Accommodation is provided if required, with a hybrid working arrangement of three days per week in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build data infrastructure for AI/ML solutions.
- Lead prototyping and development of a RAG platform on AWS.
- Build and maintain pipelines for data workflows (CI/CD).
Key Skills:
- Extensive AWS Data Engineering experience (S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, etc.).
- NoSQL / MongoDB expertise.
- Strong understanding of Data Modelling, ETL/ELT, DWH concepts.
- Experience with Docker / EKS containerization tooling.
- RAG or LLM based data system experience.
Salary (Rate): £850 daily
