Summary: The Data & AI Delivery Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of complex data and AI projects for a leading data and AI services provider. This role involves managing project delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations, and collaborating with technical teams. The position requires a strong background in delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions within a consulting environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for stakeholder communication and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the full lifecycle of complex data and AI solutions from pre-sales and bid support through to discovery, estimation, development, testing, deployment and post-implementation support
• Guiding the delivery of the solution to time, cost, quality and client expectations
• Ownership of risks and issues to resolution
• Forming partnerships with highly skilled technical resources, working closely to deliver the scope of the project
• Challenging technical decisions and estimates from a delivery management perspective
• Understanding technical concepts and being able to explain them to business stakeholders
• Managing all aspects of delivery including planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, commercial management and customer satisfaction
• Presenting updates within client boards and committees

Key Skills:

• Prior experience of managing medium to large (£300k - £1m) Data and AI solutions in a consulting / services environment
• Demonstrable record of delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions within a matrix managed environment using both onshore and offshore teams
• Full life-cycle delivery management experience, from initial opportunity through to requirement development, estimation, solution design, development, configuration, testing and implementation
• Strong experience in the management of risks, issues and dependencies
• Considerable experience working to agile and waterfall delivery management practices and the pragmatism to blend / flex approaches to suit different client environments
• Industry recognised methods / certifications such as Scrum Master, Prince II, PMI, PMP
• Excellent communication skills with experience including stakeholder management, commercial negotiation, business writing and delivery of presentations
