Summary: The Data Administrator role involves providing support services to the Asset Management Team within a local government organization in Bristol. The successful candidate will manage data sets, coordinate asset management support work, and respond to customer inquiries. This position is initially a one-month contract with potential for extension and requires hybrid working, with one day per week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input, collate, analyze, and cleanse data sets across various IT systems.
- Construct and manipulate spreadsheets for analysis, forecasting, planning, and reporting.
- Coordinate asset management support work, overseeing the asset survey program.
- Collate, validate, cleanse, and upload data into the Asset Management database.
- Provide project management support to the Asset Management Team.
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries, resolving escalated issues.
- Provide information and advice on complex Asset Management support matters.
- Monitor and reconcile financial transactions related to asset management.
Key Skills:
- Relevant level 3 qualification (e.g., NVQ level 3, BTEC, relevant A levels) or equivalent experience.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and construct spreadsheets for reporting.
- High level of specialist knowledge in asset management legislation and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willingness to learn new applications and technology as needed.
