Summary: The Damp Surveyor will conduct comprehensive property surveys focusing on condensation and damp diagnosis, providing remedial solutions. The role requires a solid understanding of building structures and the ability to diagnose issues accurately while maintaining an empathetic approach towards tenants. The surveyor will also manage external resources and ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct full property surveys related to condensation and damp diagnosis.
- Diagnose and specify remedial requirements based on scientific knowledge of mould and building structures.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and undertake seasonal monitoring.
- Produce drawings and floor plans, and diagnose general building faults.
- Obtain or create specifications for improvement works and competitive pricing.
- Order works using appropriate systems and tender/contract procedures.
- Supervise works to completion in line with health and safety standards.
- Carry out post inspections and confirm satisfactory completion of works.
- Manage external resources through PFI contract partnering.
- Respond to complaints and requests for information, considering service review and development.
Key Skills:
