Summary: The role of D365FO Finance Business Analyst involves supporting the business with MS Dynamics (D365) on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The analyst will collaborate with management and key users to align business and technical requirements, create documentation, and oversee governance and UAT processes. Additionally, the role includes assisting in finance report design and ensuring data accuracy before migration. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the business with our primary systems MS Dynamics (D365), collaborating closely with management and key users to ensure alignment between business and technical requirements.
- Create documentation based on the organisation's identified needs, working with other teams to address training requirements for our systems.
- Support governance, facilitate workshops, and oversee UAT.
- Develop and document a general system design based on anticipated business requirements. Track and manage portfolio plans, risks, budgets, and resource forecasts.
- Assist the data platform team as needed in creating and designing finance reports to support the function.
- Guide data cleansing within the Microsoft AX platform to ensure accuracy, completeness, and validity before migration.
- Plan and support the business migration process.
Key Skills:
- Ability to conceptualise and think creatively with strong mathematical aptitude.
- Proficient in Excel with working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (D365), SQL, and Power BI. (Desirable)
- Ability to problem solve, and design solutions based on complex business and technical requirements.
