Summary: The D365 Power Platform Architect will lead the architecture and implementation of Power Platform solutions for a global IT consultancy, focusing on Microsoft technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365. This role requires extensive experience in delivering scalable and secure solutions while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and client objectives. The position is a 6-month rolling contract based in a hybrid working environment. The architect will also engage with stakeholders to define requirements and provide technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end architecture of Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and client goals
- Design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM)
- Guide teams through best practices for Power Platform development, deployment, and governance
- Integrate D365 with external data sources and systems via APIs, Azure services, and custom connectors
- Engage with client stakeholders and business analysts to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Lead technical workshops, proof-of-concepts, and architecture design sessions
- Provide architectural oversight during implementation and serve as an escalation point for technical issues
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data governance policies
- Support DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and automated testing frameworks
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience architecting and delivering solutions on Microsoft Power Platform
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.)
- Proficient in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse
- Experience integrating with Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Key Vault)
- Solid understanding of Microsoft security, identity, and compliance models
- Hands-on experience with data migration, entity modelling, and performance tuning
- Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing consulting experience
- Knowledge of ALM best practices, GitHub/Azure DevOps pipelines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
