Summary: The role of Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O involves implementing and optimizing the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solution. The consultant will collaborate with business owners and technical teams to ensure the solution meets business needs, oversee the implementation lifecycle, and leverage the Microsoft stack for innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include translating business requirements into technical specifications and conducting functional testing. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business owners and development teams to refine the F&O solution, ensuring it aligns with business needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for implementation.
- Oversee the full implementation lifecycle of Dynamics 365 F&O projects.
- Design, manage, and implement functional aspects of the solution across various modules (including SCM & Finance).
- Work closely with technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Conduct functional testing, including process and integration testing using tools like Postman.
- Facilitate workshops to gather user needs and translate them into actionable business processes and product backlogs.
- Contribute to agile project planning, sprint execution, and documentation (Epics, Features, User Stories).
- Leverage the broader Microsoft stack (PowerApps, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure, Office 365) to create innovative solutions.
Key Skills:
- 5-6+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience with Direct Debit processes.
- Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
- Proven ability to work in Agile environments and contribute to sprint planning.
- 12+ Years overall experience.
