D365 Business Central Architect
Summary: The Dynamics 365 Business Central Architect will lead the migration of a manufacturing client's ERP platform from Dynamics NAV 2018 to Business Central. This role involves assessing the current environment, defining the target-state solution, and overseeing upgrade and data migration strategies across various business functions. The Architect will also provide leadership in designing scalable solutions and guiding teams through implementation. Strong experience in Dynamics NAV and manufacturing processes is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead NAV 2018 to Business Central assessment, architecture, and migration strategy.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and evaluate customizations, ISV solutions, and integrations.
- Design scalable BC solutions using AL extensions and Microsoft best practices.
- Define data migration, testing, cutover, security, and deployment strategies.
- Provide manufacturing solution leadership across production, BOMs, routings, MRP, inventory, warehousing, and costing.
- Architect integrations with MES, WMS, EDI, CRM, Power Platform, and Azure services.
- Guide functional and technical teams through implementation and go-live.
Key Skills:
- 8-10+ years of Dynamics NAV/Business Central experience.
- Proven experience leading NAV 2018 to BC migration projects.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and ERP best practices.
- Expertise in Business Central, AL development, extension architecture, integrations, data migration, and Azure DevOps.
