Summary: The Cyber Security Project Manager role involves leading key cybersecurity initiatives within the Cyber Delivery Assurance Team, ensuring successful project delivery across the enterprise. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. The role is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in Glasgow, and is set to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing complex projects, particularly those involving third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, business customers, and senior management throughout the full project lifecycle-from initiation to implementation and benefit realisation.
- Apply strong project management practices including planning, risk and issue management, budgeting, resource coordination, and decision-making, with a strong focus on delivery and outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising both technical and non-technical personnel across multiple locations, while effectively managing engagement with external third-party service providers.
- Identify and manage critical project resources, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Promote adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset within the team to achieve objectives within time, budget, and quality constraints.
- Own key decisions, assess complex challenges, and take accountability for project outcomes throughout the delivery cycle.
- Coordinate closely with IT suppliers on project deliverables and issue resolution.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments.

- Exposure to multiple project delivery methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable project deliverables.
- Educational background in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
