Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document technical requirements across the IAM stack, ensuring alignment with programme goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed process maps to support new and updated IAM processes.
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable use cases and test cases.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including Programme Directors and Architects, ensuring clear communication and progress reporting.
- Provide analysis and technical insight across authentication, governance, access, and privileged access management.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned workstreams, demonstrating accountability and self-sufficiency.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) including authentication, governance, and privileged access management.
- Technical and functional knowledge of IAM tools, technologies, and E2E processes.
- Proven ability in requirements gathering, analysis, and process mapping.
- Experience in large-scale, complex, and global organisations, ideally within financial services.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Visio, and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to challenge and drive clarity.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IAM Technical Analyst to join our Cybersecurity Transformation team at HSBC. This role is part of a major global programme to redefine Identity & Access Management (IDAM) at scale, covering authentication, governance, access management, and privileged access. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing modern IAM solutions for one of the world’s largest banking environments.
