Cyber Security Specialist

Summary: The Security Design Specialist role focuses on collaborating with security architects and application development teams in the finance and banking sector to ensure secure threat model designs. The position involves facilitating threat modeling workshops, overseeing security issues across product teams, and promoting a shift-left security approach. The specialist will also serve as a liaison between development teams and Global Information Security to ensure compliance with global security policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitating Security Architecture run threat modeling workshops.
• Assisting development teams in identifying and mitigating threats.
• Overseeing security-related issues across multiple product teams/squads.
• Ensuring development teams adopt frictionless shift-left security through engagement with SAST/DAST, automation, and CSPM.
• Working with and understanding complex architectures and modern development methods.
• Ensuring security architecture standards and patterns are utilized by development teams.
• Serving as the point of contact for development teams with Global Information Security.
• Helping development teams meet global security policy requirements.

Key Skills:

• Experience in security architecture and threat modeling.
