Summary: The Cyber Security Reporting Analyst role involves providing expert analysis and visualization to communicate the organization's cyber security posture to stakeholders. The position requires collaboration with both technical and business teams to ensure understanding of security testing outcomes and to drive improvements in reporting capabilities. The analyst will work in a hybrid environment, attending the Glasgow office two days a week, and will be responsible for managing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert, specialist level of knowledge in the use of analysis and visualisation to explain cyber security posture to various stakeholders
  • Communicating with technical and Business stakeholders across the organisation to ensure security testing outcomes are understood.
  • Ability to use information to influence the right outcomes for the organisation to reduce security risk.
  • Proactively contribute to continuous improvements in our reporting and insights capabilities.
  • Team working and the ability to be self-directed on task completion
  • Demonstrating a professional 'can do' attitude and high levels of motivation
  • Working under pressure, managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
  • Collaborating with internal and external parties to provide excellent outcomes and customer service
  • Focused on driving a brilliant customer experience, maximise value, mitigate risks and deliver service improvements to the continuous control monitoring service
  • Passionate about delivery of service with focus on the customer and colleague experience.

Key Skills:

  • Advanced excel and Power BI/Tableau skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of data analysis and developing management information including developing scorecards, dashboards, and metrics
  • Expertise in supporting the management of a service/function through advanced analytics
  • Experience of languages such as SQL, Python
  • Self-driven qualities and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
