Summary: The Project Manager role focuses on supporting strategic and tactical change initiatives within the Cybersecurity Operations team, ensuring that projects are well-defined and executed according to plan. The position requires effective communication of the Cyber programme's strategy and its business impact, reporting directly to the Head of Cybersecurity Programme delivery. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve clear business outcomes and manage project risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, key control owners and stakeholders to define clear business outcomes, requirements and ensure these remain traceable throughout the delivery of the initiative.
  • Attend various governance forums and provide programme insight to the ExCo and Steering Committee.
  • Capture actions on behalf of Exco members and work with relevant teams/stakeholders to close them in a timely manner
  • Develop and support business case submissions
  • Proactively monitor the programme's progress and communicate to all stakeholders
  • Resolve issues and initiate corrective action as required.
  • Ensure effective quality assurance
  • Articulate and capture risk and dependencies between programmes and functions/teams etc.
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering a range of medium sized projects across Build and Operate workstream to support key system integrations, product optimisation and automated workflows for education controls & key cybersecurity priorities.
  • Produce full project plans.
  • Define project requirements.
  • Produce and deliver user test plans.
  • Manage required Bank's governance processes to support system delivery and operational processes (eg, External Hosting Committees and Data Visa)
  • Produce updated operational processes to support new features and tooling.
  • Manage the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments, and changes.
  • Produce project status reports and ad hoc reporting requirements on the health of the projects.
  • Proactively manage all project & delivery risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Work with Programme managers to ensure project activities are aligned to wider programme objectives.
  • Be the main contact for respective projects across the wider programme.
  • Track and manage risks throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Deliver successful project outcomes (ie, ensuring it is on time and within budget).
  • Contribute to and agree business transition plans including handover criteria, ensuring all delivery expectation are meet before handing final activities to BAU.

Job Description

The role requires to articulate Cyber programme's strategy and objectives and assess how it will impact the business. The role will report directly to the Head of Cybersecurity Programme delivery.
