Summary: The Cyber Security & Operational Technology (OT) Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of key cyber projects, including HMI upgrades, DLR backup, and ECDT-SDWAN. This role requires proven project management experience in cyber security or OT environments, focusing on managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement. The position is based in Reading with remote work flexibility and is a 6-month contract. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of cyber security projects focused on HMI, DLR, and ECDT-SDWAN deployment.
  • Manage the deployment of SDWAN across 111 sites, ensuring alignment with technical and operational requirements.
  • Oversee all tasks related to the change management process, including documentation, approvals, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure all necessary permits are identified, requested, and approved in coordination with site operations.
  • Coordinate site readiness, logistics, and physical access for deployment activities.
  • Ensure training and documentation are delivered to site teams' post-deployment.
  • Oversee post-implementation support and stabilization after go-live.
  • Enforce adherence to change control governance and Change Control Board processes.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety protocols during site activities.
  • Manage environmental and regulatory permit requirements as applicable.
  • Define and track KPIs rollout success (eg, % of sites deployed on time, number of change requests processed).
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to ensure requirements are met.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure backlog alignment with delivery goals.
  • Track and report project progress using Power BI dashboards and Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure compliance with cyber resilience strategies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Engage with OT stakeholders to ensure operational alignment and readiness.
  • Oversee vendor management and contract deliverables.
  • Support rollout of MFA, penetration testing, and secure configuration practices.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management within cyber security or OT environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for task tracking and reporting.
  • Strong skills in Power BI for project performance and risk reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive cross-functional collaboration.
