Summary: The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a 6-month contract, requiring hybrid work with 2-3 days per week in London. Key Responsibilities:
- Build security automation into delivery pipelines.
- Conduct security-focused tests against digital services.
- Implement DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Engage in threat modeling and secure by design processes.
- Work with cloud security architectures and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Utilize security testing tools and methodologies, including static and dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and penetration testing.
- Communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Active SC Clearance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Crest, or CHECK.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Experience in threat modeling and secure by design processes.
- Knowledge of cloud security architectures and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C++) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell).
- Excellent communication skills.
