Summary: The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a 6-month contract, requiring hybrid work with 2-3 days per week in London. Key Responsibilities:

  • Build security automation into delivery pipelines.
  • Conduct security-focused tests against digital services.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Engage in threat modeling and secure by design processes.
  • Work with cloud security architectures and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Utilize security testing tools and methodologies, including static and dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and penetration testing.
  • Communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • Active SC Clearance.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Crest, or CHECK.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Experience in threat modeling and secure by design processes.
  • Knowledge of cloud security architectures and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C++) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell).
  • Excellent communication skills.
