Cyber Security Architect

Summary: The Senior Cyber Security Architectural Lead will support the development of Cyber Capability within the Defence sector, providing technical security input to information system designs. The role requires maintaining awareness of industry developments and reviewing solution designs to ensure compliance with security architecture. Additionally, the lead will identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities while advising on the implementation of security controls. Active DV Clearance is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of Cyber Capability.
• Provide technical security input to information system designs.
• Maintain awareness of industry developments for Cyber Security Capability and make recommendations for adoption.
• Review and contribute to high- and low-level solution designs, ensuring compliance with security architecture.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate security vulnerabilities in project delivery.
• Advise managers and produce recommendations for the implementation of security controls.
• Assess the performance and effectiveness of security elements and advise on potential solutions for improvements.

Key Skills:

• Active DV Clearance.
• Experience in highly secure environments.
• Knowledge of security concepts related to complex enterprise solutions.
• Experience in cloud architecture.
• Previous experience in Security Assurance and Security Architecture.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to work across multiple teams simultaneously.
• Understanding of delivering successfully in a regulated environment.
