Summary: The Cyber Security Architect role is a contract position for an initial duration of six months, focused on implementing security architectural designs within a Financial Services organization. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with two days per week in the London office. The architect will work closely with security engineers and operations teams to manage vulnerabilities and enhance security measures across the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building security into infrastructure and architecture designs
- Work closely with Security Engineers and the Operations team with regards to the management of vulnerabilities, risks and remediation methods
- To identify new security threats and assess the effectiveness of current controls to pinpoint opportunities for program improvement
Key Skills:
- Must have at least 5+ years Security Architecture experience
- Must have recent experience building security into On-Prem Infrastructure
- Must have experience working within Banking, Financial Services or Insurance
- Ideally have experience working across the following - SIEM, Vulnerability Management, DLP, PAM, IDAM & Endpoint Protection
- Previous experience conducting risk assessments and threat modelling

Spencer Rose are recruiting on behalf of a leading Financial Services organisation who are currently in search of Cyber Security Architect on a contract basis. Within this role, the Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for implementing the Security Architectural design across their infrastructure estate consisting of Linux/Unix & Windows Server environment.
The Cyber Security Architect will have the following responsibilities -
- Building security into infrastructure and architecture designs
- Work closely with Security Engineers and the Operations team with regards to the management of vulnerabilities, risks and remediation methods
