Summary: The Cyber Security Architect role involves defining and implementing security architectures for both hybrid cloud and on-premises environments within a global Investment Bank. The position requires extensive experience in security architecture, particularly with Azure cloud security, and entails providing technical leadership for security solutions. The role also includes driving secure Azure cloud adoption and leading identity and access management strategies across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement robust security architectures for hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
- Proven experience as a Security Architect in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of Azure cloud platform security including Azure AD, Defender for Cloud, and Azure Key Vault.
- Provide technical leadership for security solutions involving web proxies (e.g., Zscaler, Blue Coat, etc.) to ensure secure internet and SaaS access.
- Drive Azure cloud adoption securely, embedding security controls in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
- Lead IAM strategy and implementation across the organization, including SSO, MFA, RBAC, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Collaborate with cloud engineers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments on proposed solutions.
