Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full life cycle of security incidents, from detection through to containment and remediation.
  • Apply strong situational judgment to assess threats and escalate appropriately.
  • Engage confidently with business stakeholders to ensure response decisions align with organisational priorities.
  • Help develop and enhance incident response playbooks, tooling, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists where deeper analysis or remediation is required.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in incident response-beyond basic alert triage.
  • Strong understanding of risk, threat assessment, and escalation practices.
  • The ability to translate technical issues into business impact and communicate clearly with non-technical teams.
  • Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CySA+, etc.) are valued but not required-experience matters most.
  • An interest in supporting physical security operations in the future is a plus.

Cyber Security Analyst (Contract)

Are you an experienced Cyber Security Analyst with a passion for incident response and a sharp sense for when something doesn't look right? This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, agile team tackling complex security challenges across a critical environment.

The Opportunity

You'll be the fifth member of a dedicated Incident Response team responsible for triaging, containing, and remediating cyber security incidents. The role offers the flexibility of contracting while the organisation reviews and strengthens its long-term security operating model.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the full life cycle of security incidents, from detection through to containment and remediation.

  • Apply strong situational judgment to assess threats and escalate appropriately.
