Summary: The Cyber/Infrastructure Project Manager role focuses on delivering critical projects within the Energy and Utilities sector, ensuring that internal constraints do not hinder progress. The role is hands-on and intervention-heavy, necessitating collaboration across business and technology teams. This is a hybrid position based in Preston, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and resolve internal data, process, and decision-making blockers quickly
  • Manage and mitigate business resource constraints
  • Surface, understand, and operationalise tacit knowledge and shadow processes
  • Align supplier activity to clear, testable outputs
  • Deliver Cyber/Infrastructure Projects
  • Deliver projects in the Energy/Utilities Industry
  • Manage Critical Infrastructure along with NIS & CAF
  • Support complex, cross-business IT/data programmes
  • Unblock delivery in resource-constrained environments
  • Work closely with third-party delivery partners
  • Define business change and processes
  • Manage financial aspects effectively

Key Skills:

  • Experience in delivering Cyber/Infrastructure Projects

Cyber/Infrastructure Project Manager - Energy/Utilities & Critical Infrastructure. NIS/CAF

Viqu are looking for a pro active, delivery-focused Senior Project Manager to support a programme of work by ensuring that internal constraints do not impede delivery, while holding key stakeholders to account in a collaborative, outcome-focused way.

This role is critical in ensuring that:

  • Internal data, process, and decision-making blockers are identified and resolved quickly
  • Business resource constraints are actively managed and mitigated
  • Tacit knowledge and shadow processes are surfaced, understood, and operationalised
  • Supplier activity is consistently aligned to clear, testable outputs
  • Expereince of delivering Cyber/Infrastructure Proejcts
  • Expereince of delivering projects in the Energy/Utilities Industry
  • Experience of Critical Infrastructure along with NIS & CAF
  • Experience delivering or supporting complex, cross-business IT/data programmes
  • Demonstrated ability to unblock delivery in resource-constrained environments
  • Experience working closely with third-party delivery partners
  • Strong experience of business change and process definition
  • Strong financial management

This is a hands-on, intervention-heavy role, requiring strong engagement across business and technology teams.

This is a hybrid role that will require you to be on site in Preston - 2/3 days a week.

Duration 6 months - Insider IR35

Day rate - £500 - 580 a day - Inside of IR35
