Project Manager (Cybersecurity) - £500/day via Umbrella - 6 Month Contract - Manchester (hybrid - SCC Flex Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (IT & OT) to support a NIS cybersecurity programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in both IT and OT environments, delivering complex cyber security and infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities as the Project Manager:
- Lead the delivery of projects within a large-scale NIS Cyber Security Programme.
- Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Coordinate activities across a mixed IT, OT and cyber security teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, technical specialists and third-party suppliers.
- Ensure projects comply with regulatory, governance and cyber security requirements.
- Drive project reporting, governance forums and steering committee updates.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining delivery momentum.
- Support business readiness, change management and implementation activities.
As a successful Project Manager, you will have:
- Proven experience working as a Project Manager (IT & OT) within complex technology environments.
- Strong track record of delivering cyber security, infrastructure or regulatory compliance programmes.
- Experience working on projects involving both IT and Operational Technology environments.
- Knowledge of NIS Regulations and cyber security programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrable experience managing project governance, RAID logs, reporting and financial controls.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Prince2, PMP, Agile or equivalent project management certification (desirable).
