Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with a Cybersecurity focus to join on a 12-month hybrid contract based in Glasgow (3 days on-site). The role requires experience managing complex technical projects, ideally within cybersecurity or encryption-focused environments, combining strong project management capability with a solid understanding of encryption technologies, key management, and secure communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex technical cybersecurity and encryption-focused projects end-to-end, applying Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies
- Translate technical details into clear, actionable plans for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, maintaining project tracking across JIRA, Confluence, and project dashboards
- Apply strong knowledge of encryption technologies, key management, secrets management, and secure communication protocols to drive project outcomes
- Navigate ambiguity proactively, driving clarity and momentum across complex, multi-stakeholder technical programmes
- Maintain rigorous project governance, ensuring timely delivery, risk identification, and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle

- 10+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, ideally in cybersecurity or encryption-focused environments
- Strong understanding of encryption technologies, key management, secrets management, and secure communication protocols
- Proven track record in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools including JIRA, Confluence, and project tracking dashboards

Contract Details:
- Rate: £400 per day Inside IR35
- Location: Hybrid (3x a week) in Glasgow
- Contract Length: 12 - Month Initial Contract
