Summary: The Cyber Lead Solutions Designer will play a crucial role in the Security Solutions team, focusing on creating solution design documentation to support various projects within the cyber transformation programme. This position requires a proactive individual who can drive best practices in security design and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. The role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders to enhance security measures and deliver secure digital banking solutions. Candidates should be self-motivated and ready to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive designs in keeping with platforms and/or project commitments.
- Be the champion of the platform driving best practice at all times.
- Define the solutions design for security network, operational and software solutions designs for security specific projects.
- Lead the delivery of solutions designs that meet the purpose of being a secure digital bank.
- Assess and approve the security of in-house and third-party applications, services and infrastructure designs.
- Make security recommendations to improve the security of applications, services, processes and infrastructure designs.
- Identify key points requiring auditing for compliance with internal policy/standards and industry regulations.
- Define security operation patterns to manage security in line with existing policies.
- Work closely with Security Architecture and Technology colleagues for effective design evaluations.
- Run design forums and workshops with developers, operational and business colleagues.
- Present solutions to senior stakeholders across Technology Operations & Cyber Security teams.
Key Skills:
- Practical experience implementing/assessing risk against company and external standards.
- Experience in authoring and reviewing designs and enhancing security solutions.
- Experience leading delivery of secure solution designs and operational implementation.
- Strong relationship management, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with a range of Cyber technologies including on-prem and cloud.
- Experience within Security NIST framework.
- Experience working in waterfall and agile environments.
- Understanding and experience of design governance.
