Summary: The Cyber Governance & Risk Specialist role involves supporting the development and communication of a cyber risk management operating model for an organization. The specialist will review the current cyber risk management status, identify tooling requirements, and contribute to relevant policies and standards. This contract position is based in Reading or Havant and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and communication of the group's cyber risk management operating model.
- Review the current status of cyber risk management across the organisation including a sitrep of system's key security deliverables such as threat models & risk assessments.
- Identify cyber risk management tooling requirements and support integration with Enterprise Risk management tools & processes.
- Feed into policies & standards related to cyber risk management, and develop resources to support practitioners (e.g. templates, guides, references).
Key Skills:
- Experience in cyber governance and risk management.
- Knowledge of cyber risk management operating models.
- Ability to review and assess cyber risk management practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise risk management tools.
- Strong communication skills for policy development and resource creation.
