Summary: The Customer Service Representative role at an engineering client in Barton Under Needwood involves managing a backlog of invoices and collaborating with customers and external agencies to resolve payment issues. The position requires excellent administrative skills and the ability to provide documented evidence to support cash collection efforts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Being the first contact for the business regularly via telephone, Teams, and email
  • Liaise with Customers & Genpact to understand & collate issues to enable query resolution
  • Resolving customer issues with orders/parts, e.g., rejections and non-conformance
  • Collate & file PODs centrally & send to customers when requested
  • Liaise with Customers & Customer Services Colleagues to resolve material and price variance issues
  • Help reduce overdue debt by proactively dealing with issues in a timely manner
  • Liaising with other internal departments within the company to resolve queries
  • Updating and maintaining spreadsheets and trackers, as well as regularly utilising additional Microsoft Office programs
  • Photocopying, scanning, and filing documents appropriately
