Summary: The Customer Proposition Manager for Wealth Management will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving the Wealth proposition, focusing on customer-centric offerings across various products and services. This hands-on position requires extensive experience in designing wealth propositions within regulated environments, ensuring they are commercially viable and aligned with customer insights. The role involves collaboration across multiple teams to enhance the customer experience and maintain regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Wealth Customer Proposition and work closely with various stakeholders within the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain the end-to-end Wealth customer proposition across all Wealth products and services.
  • Ensure alignment and integration with the wider bank and group propositions where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain the commercial and revenue model underpinning the proposition.
  • Lead the use of customer insight, working with analytics and research teams to ensure the proposition is data-led and evidence-based.
  • Build and evolve detailed client segmentation models to support proposition design and targeting.
  • Own pricing across the Wealth customer journey, including transparency and disclosures.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end customer experience, working with product owners, client-facing teams, operations and second-line functions to ensure consistently strong client outcomes.
  • Act as subject matter expert for Wealth onboarding, supporting a unified onboarding experience across the bank where possible.
  • Partner with marketing, digital and product teams to develop client-facing materials, journeys and digital experiences.
  • Monitor industry, competitive and regulatory developments and identify opportunities to enhance the Wealth proposition.
  • Represent proposition demand into delivery and change teams across CRM, digital channels and onboarding initiatives.

Key Skills:

  • Significant experience in customer proposition, product proposition or service development within wealth management or investment management.
  • Strong understanding of UK wealth products, services and customer types.
  • Proven experience using customer insight, data and segmentation to shape propositions.
  • Sound commercial understanding, including pricing and profitability of wealth propositions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across product, marketing, data, operations, risk and compliance.
  • Clear understanding of the regulatory environment impacting wealth management, including Consumer Duty.
  • Confident communicator, able to present complex topics clearly to senior stakeholders.

Customer Proposition Manager – Wealth Management

We are seeking an experienced Customer Proposition Manager to join a recently formed Wealth Customer Proposition team . This role sits at the centre of shaping the future Wealth proposition, with responsibility for defining, evolving and embedding a compelling, customer-centric offering across products, services, pricing and journeys. Reporting to the Head of Wealth Customer Proposition, you will work across Wealth, Asset Management and the wider bank to ensure the proposition is commercially robust, insight-led, regulatorily sound and clearly differentiated. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has designed and run wealth propositions in complex, regulated organisations, typically within a retail or corporate banking group.
