Summary: The Customer MDM Expert role involves leading the design and implementation of a Customer Master Data Management solution using Informatica IDMC C360. The position requires hands-on configuration and technical advisory to ensure high-quality customer data across various markets. The expert will also mentor a small team and engage with stakeholders to resolve complex data issues. This is a strategic role within a data transformation initiative on a 24-month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary hands-on configurator and functional SME for the Customer MDM solution.
- Design, document, and maintain customer data models, Golden Record structures, hierarchies, relationships, business rules (match & merge, survivorship), workflows, and APIs.
- Provide technical advisory on best practices, platform capabilities, and configuration approaches.
- Oversee Informatica IDMC C360 deployments, environment promotion, and release activities.
- Support stakeholders across business and IT, engaging with vendors and delivery teams to resolve complex issues.
- Implement and enforce data quality, validation, and governance processes.
- Provide architecture guidance, solution implementation advice, and prepare technical proposals or solution presentations.
- Lead and mentor a small team of 1-2 MDM developers.
Key Skills:
- 6-8 years professional experience, including 4-6 years hands-on Customer MDM experience.
- 3+ years with enterprise MDM platforms, specifically Informatica IDMC C360 SaaS.
- Deep understanding of Customer MDM concepts: Golden Record, match & merge, survivorship, hierarchies, and relationships.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining enterprise customer data models.
- Strong knowledge of data lifecycle management, reference data, and metadata management.
- Experience integrating MDM with ERP, CRM, and external data providers.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with CLAIRE AI and automation capabilities (preferred).
- Experience with multi-country/global MDM deployments (preferred).
