Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for internal audits, DAS audits, and ESFA compliance checks
  • Line managing Link Tutors to deliver high-quality student and employer support
  • Driving curriculum planning, sequencing, and alignment with industry standards and partner requirements

Key Skills:

  • Assessor qualification
  • IQA qualification (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted EIF, ESFA funding rules, and awarding body criteria
  • Experience of audits/inspections with Ofsted, ESFA, or awarding bodies
  • Proven experience in curriculum planning, delivery, or quality assurance in FE/ITP settings
  • Excellent organisational, documentation, and communication skills
  • Desirable: Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with MIS systems
  • Experience developing apprenticeship frameworks and working with higher education partners

We’re Hiring: Curriculum & Compliance Manager (Part-Time, 3 Days/Week) Hybrid – Home & London Metropolitan College sites £35,000 per annum pro rata

London Metropolitan College (LMC) is seeking an experienced Curriculum & Compliance Manager to join our team. This is a pivotal role, combining leadership in curriculum development with operational responsibility for compliance and quality assurance across our apprenticeship and higher education programmes.

The Role

As our operational lead IQA, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading internal quality assurance (IQA) and maintaining assessor standards
  • Overseeing compliance with Ofsted, ESFA, and awarding body requirements
  • Executing audits, mock inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring ILR accuracy, apprenticeship funding processes, and MIS issue resolution in partnership with the Data Manager
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding compliance for students and employers
  • Acting as the main point of contact for internal audits, DAS audits, and ESFA compliance checks
  • Line managing Link Tutors to deliver high-quality student and employer support

About You

We’re looking for a compliance-focused manager with strong curriculum experience and a sharp eye for detail. To be successful, you must have:

  • Assessor qualification
  • IQA qualification (essential – you will be the operational lead IQA for LMC)
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted EIF, ESFA funding rules, and awarding body criteria
  • Experience of audits/inspections with Ofsted, ESFA, or awarding bodies
  • Proven experience in curriculum planning, delivery, or quality assurance in FE/ITP settings
