Summary: Whitebridge is looking for a CSDM/CMBD Analyst to support a FTSE100 client. The role involves managing service data and CMDB, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment and will be engaged through an umbrella company. Immediate availability is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage CMDB and service data, including service modelling and relationship mapping.
- Collaborate with Service Owners and technical teams to enhance service selection and data quality.
- Conduct data quality checks and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Utilize ITSM tools, particularly ServiceNow, for reporting and data management.
- Produce data health metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address data issues and promote standards.
Key Skills:
- Experience in CMDB and service data management.
- Knowledge of CSDM concepts and ITSM processes.
- Strong data analysis and quality assurance skills.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience in regulated industries is desirable.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL or ServiceNow CMDB/Discovery.

Essential
- Proven experience in CMDB and service data management, including service modelling, relationship mapping, and data governance practices.
- Working knowledge of CSDM concepts and how service data underpins ITSM processes and operational reporting.
- Experience working with Service Owners, service desks, and technical teams to improve service selection, categorisation, and data quality at source.
- Strong data quality and analysis capability, including defining rules, running checks, investigating defects, and coordinating remediation with accountable teams.
- Hands-on experience with ITSM tooling (eg, ServiceNow CMDB and Service Portfolio) including reporting/dashboards, data imports, and lifecycle workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to explain data issues, influence data stewardship, and drive adoption of standards across diverse teams and suppliers.
- Experience producing data health MI (KPIs, quality scores, exception reporting) and turning insight into prioritised improvement actions.
- Methodical, detail-focused, and comfortable working to deadlines where service data accuracy directly impacts operational outcomes and stakeholder confidence.
Desirable
- Experience in regulated industries with an understanding of audit, assurance, and evidence expectations for CMDB/service data controls.
- Familiarity with service portfolio management and how service data supports service reviews, supplier reporting, and commercial performance levers.
- Exposure to SIAM/multi-supplier operating models and how shared ownership affects CMDB/service data quality and governance.
- Experience with ServiceNow CMDB configuration concepts (classes, relationships, lifecycle, reconciliation, discovery) and data quality rule frameworks.
- Relevant certification(s) such as ITIL, ServiceNow CMDB/Discovery, SIAM, COBIT, or data quality/governance qualifications.
