Summary: The role of a Senior Cryptography Consultant involves designing and delivering enterprise-grade cryptographic solutions to protect sensitive data within an organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-level designs (HLDs) for enterprise security and cryptographic architectures, ensuring scalability, resilience, and alignment with business objectives.
- Design and implement robust cryptographic solutions, including encryption, key management, and secure data protection mechanisms.
- Lead the design and integration of Hardware Security Module (HSM)-based architectures, ensuring secure key life cycle management and protection of sensitive assets.
- Ensure all solutions meet security governance standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
- Work closely with enterprise architects, security teams, and stakeholders to review designs, obtain approvals, and ensure alignment with organisational standards.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in producing high-level design documentation and enterprise security architecture frameworks.
- Deep understanding of cryptographic principles, encryption standards (eg AES, RSA), and secure protocol design.
- Hands-on experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and enterprise key management systems.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and architecture review processes.
- Ability to lead design discussions, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex approval processes across technical and non-technical teams.
