Summary: The CRM Test Analyst will support the Test Manager in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CE, ensuring the successful delivery of the project. This role involves creating and executing test scripts, conducting various testing phases, and collaborating with stakeholders to validate the solution. The Test Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards throughout the testing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Test Manager in delivering the overall test strategy and plans.
  • Design, prepare, and execute detailed test scripts based on business and system requirements.
  • Carry out functional testing and end-to-end system integration testing.
  • Support business users in the planning and execution of UAT.
  • Log, track, and retest defects, ensuring clear communication with the Test Manager and SI.
  • Ensure all testing is completed to agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Provide accurate reporting on test progress, risks, and issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CE or similar CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and practices.
  • Ability to create and execute detailed test scripts.
  • Experience in functional testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

Detailed Description From Employer:

Our client is in the process of implementing Microsoft Dynamics CE, moving away from their end-of-life CRM system. They are currently two-thirds of the way through the build phase and require a Test Analyst to support the Test Manager in ensuring the successful delivery of the project. As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and executing test scripts, supporting functional testing, end-to-end system integration testing, and assisting with user acceptance testing through to delivery. You will play a key role in validating the solution, working closely with the Test Manager, the client, and the system integrator to ensure quality outcomes are met.
