Summary: The Credit Risk Transformation (Delivery Manager) will lead large-scale programs to enhance the bank's credit risk capabilities, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives related to credit risk modeling, systems integration, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Define, structure, and manage the delivery of strategic credit risk programs (Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, model modernization, risk platform upgrades).
  • Develop and track program plans, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring adherence to timelines and governance standards.
  • Coordinate across multiple workstreams — credit risk modeling, data, systems, policy, reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, CCAR, ICAAP, local regulators).
  • Oversee embedding of risk appetite frameworks, credit policy changes, and new regulatory requirements into risk systems and processes.
  • Act as the primary interface between Credit Risk, Business Lines, Finance, Technology / Engineering, and Compliance.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define business requirements and manage expectations.
  • Present program progress, risks, and issues to executive committees and regulators.
  • Drive migration from legacy credit risk systems to modern platforms (on-prem/cloud).
  • Ensure effective adoption of credit risk models and decision engines into business processes.
  • Lead change management, including training, communication, and end-user adoption.
  • Support delivery of risk data aggregation and reporting (BCBS 239 compliance, enterprise risk dashboards).
  • Oversee risk data quality, lineage, and governance for credit risk portfolios.
  • Establish program governance frameworks, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) logs, and reporting packs.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline; MBA/Master’s preferred.
  • 10–15 years of experience in credit risk, risk management, or large-scale banking transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading multi-year, cross-functional risk/regulatory programs.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk concepts (PD, LGD, EAD models, scorecards, stress testing).
  • Proven track record in program/project management within risk, finance, or banking transformation.
  • Familiarity with risk systems (SAS Risk, Moody’s, FIS, in-house risk engines) and credit decisioning platforms.
  • Understanding of regulatory risk frameworks (Basel, IFRS 9, CCAR, ICAAP).
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

Summary of the role: The Credit Risk Program Manager will lead large-scale, cross-functional programs to strengthen and transform the bank’s credit risk capabilities. This role oversees planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives across credit risk modeling, systems integration, regulatory compliance, and data management. The Program Manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with both regulatory requirements and the bank’s risk appetite framework.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
