Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst
Location: London (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-month Contract
Day Rate:  450 Inside IR35


We are seeking talented and driven Credit Risk Analysts to join this team in London for a 12-month contract. Working for a world-leading consultancy firm, this is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong analytical background to contribute to innovative projects while working in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for:



  • End-to-End Analytical Ownership: Lead and manage analytical workstreams from inception through to execution, ensuring timely delivery of insights and recommendations.

  • Complex Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses on complex datasets using advanced SAS, SQL, or Excel programming to identify trends and actionable insights.

  • Solution Design: Develop and implement analytical and technical solutions that address business challenges, employing deep problem-solving techniques.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders clearly and concisely, facilitating informed decision-making.

  • Presentation Skills: Create compelling PowerPoint presentations that resonate with a diverse audience, demonstrating the ability to influence key outcomes.

  • Collections and Recoveries Expertise: Apply your understanding of Collections and Recoveries strategies and systems to optimize business processes and outcomes.

  • Debt Sale Market Knowledge: Utilize your familiarity with Debt Sale markets to inform risk strategies and financial decisions.


Who You Are:

You are an analytical professional with a minimum of 6 years experience, adept at handling complex data and providing strategic insights. You thrive in fast-paced environments and possess the following key skills:



  • Advanced Programming Skills: Proficient in SAS, SQL, or Excel, with a proven ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.

  • Proactive Self-Starter: You take initiative and are capable of adapting quickly to changing business needs, ensuring project deadlines are met without compromising quality.

  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills enable you to articulate complex concepts clearly to a senior audience.

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in your work, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all analyses.

  • Effective Time Management: You balance multiple priorities, manage your own time effectively, and work decisively under pressure.

  • Strategic Thinker: You have the ability to think creatively and strategically, bringing innovative solutions to business challenges.
