Credit Risk Analyst

Summary: The Credit Risk Analyst role at an automotive OEM in Basildon, Essex, involves coordinating reporting and insights within the Credit Risk function across major European markets. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Credit Risk Team in preparing and circulating regular risk reports.
• Ensure timely filing of reports, quality checks, and validation.
• Format reports and conduct data analysis for ad hoc requests.
• Modernize the Risk Reporting suite using enterprise standard data repositories and dynamic visualizations.
• Conduct routine data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify process improvements within the reporting function.
• Use insights from reporting to inform Risk & Business Strategy decisions.
• Provide data and insights to ad hoc workstreams, including Basel 3.1 data requirements.
• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of risk management and data analysis.
