Role: Risk Analyst

Location: Glasgow, UK (2 days hybrid)

Role Description -

  • To manage and optimise the bank's overall credit risk exposure by monitoring, analysing, and reporting on the credit worthiness of its lending portfolio. Monitoring the financial performance and risk profile of the entire lending portfolio, including individual borrowers, sectors, and geographic regions.
  • Analysis of credit trends, identify early warning signs of potential borrowers' issues, and assess the impact of economic and market developments on the portfolio.

Skillset -

  • Risk Assessment: Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers in a proportionate manner
  • Process Adoption: Ability to develop and implement new processes and controls to comply with documented third-party risk management and selection policies.
  • Project Management: Skills in leading a programme of remedial activities to ensure the successful implementation and embedment of new processes and controls.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to third-party risk management.
