Summary: The Credit Operations Call Handler role is a part-time position requiring 16 hours of weekend work in Glasgow. The successful candidate will support the credit operations center by handling calls and making credit decisions in accordance with company policies. Full training will be provided, and the contract is for 12 months. Immediate availability is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting/making credit decisions using various investigation methods and credit interpretation to determine approvals in line with departmental/company policy and procedure.
- Speaking directly to customers, store staff, contact centre staff, and the business sales team to handle Decline Appeals, Referrals, and Business sales.
- Maximising the number of connections while using insight to reduce fraud.
Key Skills:
- Banking or financial experience is desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Ability to work in a multi-skilled environment.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage individual and team targets.
- Work as part of a team.
