Summary: The Credit Controller role at Ocorian involves acting as a liaison between client contacts and global teams to ensure timely debt collection and support for debt-related matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as point person for all matters related to client debt, liaising with relevant teams and clients across different jurisdictions.
- Chase overdue payments and assist with resolution of client queries and issues.
- Refer debts to third-party collection agencies when necessary.
- Report information on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to management.
- Deliver challenging targets based on collections, debtor days, and aged debt analysis.
- Assist with training new team members.
Key Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a credit control function.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience maintaining a ledger across several legal entities.
- Strong IT skills and negotiation skills.
- Prior experience liaising with third parties regarding debt recovery.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
