Summary: A leading service provider is looking for a Credit Controller to join their Manchester City Centre office on a 6-month contract. The role combines office-based and remote working, with three days in the office and two days from home each week. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team focused on building relationships with clients to ensure timely payment collection. Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact clients by phone and email to ensure timely payments are received according to agreed terms.
  • Manage a significant client debtor portfolio encompassing both high volume and value accounts.
  • Escalate risks or significant issues to the Credit Control Team Leader with thoughtful suggestions for further action.
  • Analyse and reconcile large volumes of data to identify transactions in query or overdue status.
  • Document all client queries within the system and monitor their progression until resolution is achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to enhance interactions and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues in credit control and across the wider finance team.
  • Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure any issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.

A leading service provider is seeking a Credit Controller to join their vibrant Manchester City Centre office. As a Credit Controller in this respected travel management organisation, you will play an integral role in driving the success of the finance operations department. Your day-to-day activities will centre around building dependable relationships with clients to facilitate proactive payment collection.

Key Duties Include

  • Proactively contact clients by phone and email to ensure timely payments are received according to agreed terms, including courtesy calls to resolve any queries or disputes before invoice due dates.
  • Manage a significant client debtor portfolio encompassing both high volume and value accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately tracked and reconciled.
  • Escalate risks or significant issues to the Credit Control Team Leader with thoughtful suggestions for further action to maintain smooth operations.
  • Analyse and reconcile large volumes of data to identify transactions in query or overdue status, maintaining meticulous records within internal systems.
  • Document all client queries within the system and monitor their progression until resolution is achieved.
