Citadel Source is supporting a well-established client in the North Bristol area in appointing a Credit Controller to join a friendly team. Our client is seeking someone who demonstrates exceptional communication skills and has a keen attention to detail.
About you
You will have a background in customer service and/or credit control, you will be assertive and be able to influence others with strong communication skills. Crucial requirements for this role include exceptional telephone manners, meeting monthly KPIs, and the ability to handle customer enquiries confidently. For the right individual, this is a great opportunity to obtain further finance experience. Initially, this will be a 12-month contract role, with the possibility of extension or being made permanent. To be considered for this role, you will need to be immediately available or on very short notice.
As a Credit Controller, your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Chasing due debts and verifying ledger balances
- To monitor and manage incoming queries and disputes
- To review and allocate payments
- Manage your own ledger with a monthly target of aged debt in mind
- Build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Query resolution via telephone and email
- When necessary, negotiating repayment plans with compassion for customers facing financial challenges
