Key Responsibilities:

  • Chasing and collecting overdue rent and fees.
  • Handling a large volume of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Proactively communicating with tenants and landlords regarding payment issues.
  • Monitoring team and individual collection targets.
  • Negotiating arrears instalment plans with tenants and landlords.
  • Performing administrative duties related to estate agency lettings.
  • Handling complaints and issuing first-line responses.
  • Liaising with Operations and internal functions to resolve queries.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in credit control procedures or customer service/contact centre experience.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during phone calls.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Team-oriented and approachable.
  • Target-driven with a proactive nature.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Highly numerate with good knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
  • Ability to understand company processes and complete in-house training.
