Summary: The Creative Director, Interactive Design will lead the visual direction of premium digital experiences for high-profile campaigns, focusing on systematic and modular design rather than asset production. This senior role involves setting creative direction, guiding teams, and ensuring alignment with brand sensibilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creative and visual direction of interactive digital experiences from concept through to delivery
  • Define how modular systems, layouts, transitions and hierarchy work across digital environments
  • Ensure all work aligns with established design frameworks, tone and brand sensibilities
  • Partner closely with writers, UX designers, technologists and developers to solve complex creative challenges
  • Present and sell creative ideas clearly and confidently to stakeholders at all levels
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail across all outputs
  • Provide creative guidance, mentorship and direction to designers
  • Communicate effectively across teams, managing up, across and down with confidence
  • Champion inclusive, collaborative ways of working and support diverse talent

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in digital design, interactive art direction or creative leadership
  • Background in top-tier agencies or premium brand environments
  • Strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated, brand-led digital work with outstanding craft
  • Deep understanding of systematic design, modular frameworks and scalable digital experiences
  • Strong interactive background; campaign-led work preferred over product-only design
  • Confident working in Sketch; Figma experience also welcome
  • Experience using prototyping tools to explore and communicate ideas
  • Comfortable using Keynote for presentations and storytelling
  • Ability to sketch and rapidly visualise ideas; 3D experience is a plus but not essential
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline preferred

This is a senior creative role focused on shaping systematic, modular digital design rather than hands-on asset production. You will set creative direction, make nuanced design decisions and guide teams to deliver elegant, scalable digital work at the highest level.
