Summary: The Creative Artworker role involves developing and artworking various design projects while ensuring brand consistency and high-quality standards. The position requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate marketing needs into compelling visuals. The ideal candidate should thrive in fast-paced environments, manage tight deadlines, and contribute creatively to the team. This role is part of the Creative Services team and focuses on creating engaging assets across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting briefs from the business and ensuring all designs are consistent with brand guidelines
- Creating high-quality creative/artwork across all channels and formats such as brochures, posters, interactive PDFs, email design, social content, and video
- Ensuring quality is of a high standard by proofreading and checking designs for errors and inconsistencies
- Retouching to bring brand elements into imagery
- Providing best practice design advice and constructive criticism
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends (AI, design, and software developments)
- Copywriting headlines and small pieces of copy where necessary
- Managing the image library and tagging assets in line with client processes
Key Skills:
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (essential) and Figma (desirable)
- Excellent knowledge of InDesign style sheets
- Competent proofing and self-editing capability
- Excellent knowledge of preparing documents for print, including large format printing
- Proactive, flexible, and energetic team player
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Problem-solving skills to address issues during the design/artwork process
- Understanding of visual elements such as composition, colour, and typography
- Strong ability to accurately interpret brand guidelines
- Strong communication and people skills
- 3-5 years’ experience in a creative artworker role
- Experience with Figma, video editing, and web accessibility is desirable
- Experience with creating content for social channels is desirable
