Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advisory around CPQ design best practice.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to pricing, quoting, and product configuration.
  • Analyse current CPQ processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for CPQ system development.
  • Support implementation by a 3rd party.
  • Work with development teams or vendors to build and deploy CPQ features and enhancements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify where CPQ processes connect with other workstreams and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing policies, discounting guidelines, and approval workflows.
  • Generate documentation including process flows, training materials, and system architecture diagrams.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years in a CPQ related role.
  • Experience with CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Conga, Pros).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, pricing strategies, and product configuration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with subscription billing, usage-based pricing, or SaaS revenue models.
  • Knowledge of APIs and integration with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
