Summary: The role is for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) within a perinatal team in Reading, offering a locum opportunity with flexible hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and risk evaluations
- Developing and implementing personalised care and treatment plans
- Medication management and participation in duty rotas
- Caring for a caseload and providing continuity of care
- Overseeing students and supporting their learning and development
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and midwives
- Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records in line with compliance standards
Key Skills:
- Current and valid NMC registration and PIN
- Perinatal experience is ideal, but those with a keen interest will also be considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
