Summary: The Country Head for M&A at arKap UK is responsible for leading the M&A advisory business with a focus on Principal Investors, Private Equity funds, and family offices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with Private Equity funds, Infrastructure and principal investors, and Family offices.
  • Originate M&A mandates, including buy-side and sell-side advisory, minority investments, and strategic transactions.
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to investors throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Lead deal execution at the country level, including structuring transactions, coordinating internal and external advisors, and managing negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Practice on complex or cross-border transactions.
  • Source and contribute to cross-border mandates within the Group.
  • Leverage Group practices to deliver integrated solutions and share investor intelligence, deal flow, and market insights.
  • Strengthen arKap & Co’s brand in the local M&A and PE ecosystem and represent the firm at industry events.
  • Contribute to business planning, pipeline forecasting, and performance reporting while operating within Group governance and compliance frameworks.

Directly reporting to the Global Head of M&A and part of BoD of arKap UK, the Country Head is responsible for developing and leading arKap & Co’s M&A advisory business in the UK, with a primary focus on Principal Investors, Private Equity funds and family offices . The role combines senior client coverage, deal origination, and transaction execution , while contributing to the expansion of the Group’s pan-European M&A platform. The Country Head operates as a front-line originator and senior advisor , not as an internal manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Coverage & Origination
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with:
    • Private Equity funds
    • Infrastructure and principal investors
    • Family offices and long-term capital providers
  • Originate M&A mandates, including:
    • Buy-side and sell-side advisory
    • Minority investments and strategic transactions
  • Act as a trusted senior advisor to investors throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Transaction Execution
  • Lead deal execution at country level, including:
    • Structuring transactions
    • Coordinating internal and external advisors
    • Managing negotiations with counterparties
    • Ensure high-quality delivery consistent with arKap & Co’s standards and positioning.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Practice on complex or cross-border transactions.
