Key Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, and other resources.
- Developing and managing project budgets, tracking actual expenditures, and providing regular assessments of project costs and forecasts.
- Monitoring project costs, identifying potential cost overruns, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Analyzing project data, identifying cost drivers, and evaluating the effectiveness of cost-saving strategies.
- Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cost goals are met.
- Identifying and assessing potential risks related to project costs and developing mitigation strategies.
- Preparing cost engineering reports, including cost variance reports and trend analyses.
