Summary: As a Midweight Product UI/UX Designer at COS, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the digital experiences for the brand's website and app. You will collaborate with various teams to create a cohesive design system and ensure that user interfaces are intuitive and aligned with COS's brand identity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Digital Product Strategy and Senior Product Designer to develop and maintain the COS Design System.
  • Plan and execute training for teams on how to utilize the design system.
  • Design user interfaces that enhance customer behavior and drive conversion.
  • Collaborate with developers to deliver pixel-perfect designs and high-quality prototypes.
  • Conduct user experience tests and quality checks on digital enhancements.
  • Assist with the implementation of site enhancements across global platforms.
  • Orchestrate user research to inform design decisions and product requirements.

Job Description As a Midweight Product UI/UX Designer at COS, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our digital experiences. Working within Digital Product and Tech teams, you will report into the Head of Digital Product Strategy and work on the creation and evolution of our design system, while crafting innovative, intuitive, and visually compelling experiences for the new cos.com and app. Your sharp eye for detail and deep expertise in UX and UI design will elevate the customer journey across all digital touchpoints.

What You Will Do Design System: Work closely with the Head of Digital Product Strategy & the Senior Product designer to ideate, plan, execute and maintain the new COS Design System, bringing together information and key insights from multiple teams across the business. Design System Training: Help plan and execute a training plan for teams across the business in how to input into the design system. Product Design: Design user interfaces that reflect customer behaviour, drive conversion, and align with UX best practices and COS's elevated brand identity. Combining creativity with commercial insight, delivering pixel-perfect designs, intuitive flows, and high-quality prototypes in collaboration with developers-always applying a mobile-first approach. Optimisation: Collaborate with Product & Business Experts alongside Front-End Developer on user experience tests to evaluate existing functionality and identify improvement opportunities Testing: Conduct thorough quality checks when signing off all tests and live digital enhancements Global: Assist with the handover, testing and implementation of site enhancements across other global platforms, optimising/adapting for local markets when necessary. Research: Orchestrate user research and analysis efforts to inform customer journey design ensuring insights directly shape design decisions and product requirements.

What You Need To Succeed Data Driven Decision Making: Use learnings, test results and data to inform the most optimised ,customer-centric designs across all areas of product design. Collaboration: With other functions within the business, including Product Design, Content &Copy, Digital Experience & Developers, to ensure all work produced has a holistic approach. Communication: Clearly communicate design approaches and rationales to key stakeholders in an engaging way. Deadline management: Work to agreed project timelines and deadlines, managing your own time effectively, in close collaboration with Product Manager and Head of Product Strategy Agile Product Management: Strong understanding of agile methodologies Customer Centric: Keep a pulse on customer and user needs, industry trends, and best practices to ensure COS can deliver exceptional experiences and drive business outcomes Team Support: Support and guide more junior members of team. Tools: Use appropriate softwares and tools (eg. Figma, Keynote, AE, PS, Premiere, InDesign,AI) to execute a project or task in the most logical and efficient way.
