Summary: The role is for a Core C# .NET Developer specializing in low latency eTrading applications within an investment bank. The position requires extensive experience in enterprise software development, particularly with C# and .NET, as well as a strong understanding of real-time web applications. The developer will work in a hybrid environment, contributing to the development and optimization of trading applications while ensuring best practices in programming and design. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain low latency eTrading applications using C# and .NET.
• Optimize SQL queries and database objects for performance.
• Build and enhance real-time web applications with a focus on scalability and security.
• Collaborate with Front Office users to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and task management.
• Implement programming best practices and design patterns, particularly for concurrency.
• Continuously improve software development processes and delivery.

Key Skills:

• At least 10 years of OO enterprise software development experience (C# or Java).
• At least 5 years of recent .NET (C#) and Oracle SQL development experience.
• Excellent core programming skills and knowledge of programming best practices.
• Experience building real-time web applications and in-memory caches.
• Commercial experience with Rx, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to simplify complex problems.
• Proficient SQL skills for optimizing queries and database objects.
• Good communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment.
