Summary: This role seeks an experienced Core Banking Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead bank-wide change initiatives and strategic projects at a prominent International Bank. The position involves collaboration with senior management and project teams to provide expertise in core banking systems and ensure successful technical delivery. The candidate will be responsible for guiding project teams, documenting technical processes, and supporting the migration to production environments. This is a pivotal role in driving modernization and transformation within the bank's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with agreed projects and change teams to deliver change initiatives and strategic projects to the organisation (outlined below)
- Work with the Solution and Integration architect to assess and design the target architectures and solutions
- Provide technical guidance to the project in terms of core banking and payment platforms
- Deliver agreed technical tasks on time, supporting testing cycles and migration to production
- Document technical delivery and handover to BAU team
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in various programming languages and development frameworks
- Experience in application and development lifestyle management
- Experience with Kapiti/Equation/Finastra
- Experience in analysis and design, testing and documentation of software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management
- Proven experience with delivery of change initiatives and strategic projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or relevant technical certifications.

You will closely collaborate with the IT Delivery Manager, Chief Technology Officer and project teams to provide core banking expertise and technical delivery.
Responsibilities:
